META Description Tag
Although The META Description Tag usually consists of 25-30 words or less using no more than 160 to 180 characters total (including spaces). The META description also shows up in many search engine results as a summary of your site.
Again, The META Description Tag was designed to be an integral part of page development and document identification should look something like this:

Search Engine will not display more than 180 characters of the Description tag, so it's best to keep this one brief and to the point. One of the best ways to go about crafting this tag is to create the description that you will be submitting to the major directories and then use that for your Meta Description as well.
